I am a Robotics and Mechatronics Engineer with 5+ years of industrial experience, specializing in robotic hardware development, humanoid systems, and intelligent mechanical design. My work focuses on building innovative robotic solutions by integrating mechanical engineering, electronics, and intelligent control systems, with expertise in end-to-end product development from concept design and prototyping to system integration, testing, and deployment for real-world applications.
I didn't choose robotics. It chose me somewhere around age 8, watching a movie I can't even remember the name of. Twenty years later I'm standing next to a humanoid robot I helped build, in a country I moved to alone, at a company doing things that didn't exist when I was a kid dreaming about them. NEURA was two and a half years of hard work, great people, and a quiet reminder that some childhood obsessions are worth chasing all the way to Germany.
"I count myself lucky to have had John Paul on my team. Beyond his undeniable skills in robotic prototyping, John brought an energy and a level of insight that fundamentally improved systems he was working on. He has a unique ability to take a vision and turn it into a reality with minimal oversight and maximum creativity, as he is a proactive thinker who anticipates needs before they are even voiced. Any leader looking for a high-impact, high-integrity professional would be fortunate to have John on their side."
"As VP of Advanced Development, I managed John Paul's work as a Humanoid Mechanical Engineer over a six-month period. His work exclusively targeted advanced hand mechanics. Core Competencies Demonstrated: Rapid Prototyping — Executed complete mechanical hand design iterations within strict two-month timelines. Cost-to-Performance Optimization — Engineered components to minimize production costs while exceeding the functional performance of competitor models. Competitive Engineering — Successfully adapted and improved upon complex design patterns utilized by major robotics manufacturers. Target Execution — Delivers high-efficiency output when provided with defined project parameters and structured goals."

Academic and extracurricular excellence
While engineering and robotics are a big part of my life, I also believe that creativity and passion outside of work shape who we are as individuals. Music is one of my biggest passions. I love singing and often perform at local bars and small concerts. Performing in front of people has helped me build confidence, connect with different audiences, and express creativity in a way that is completely different from engineering. I also enjoy cooking and experimenting with different cuisines; for me, cooking is similar to engineering — it involves creativity, precision, and the joy of creating something meaningful from simple ingredients. Sports have always been important in my life as well. I enjoy playing basketball, which helps me stay active and reinforces teamwork and discipline. And of course, I absolutely love dogs; spending time with them brings balance and energy to my life outside of technical work. For me, these interests complement my engineering mindset by keeping me creative, balanced, and connected with people beyond the world of technology.
